Contact Fund's Annual Reception a Huge Success
On Tuesday, November 10th, Contact Fund hosted its second Annual Reception at the Core Club in New York City.
Over 70 people attended - a mix of investors, social entrepreneurs and community development professionals - as we demonstrated the significant role that private capital plays in advancing high-impact community development in New York City.
The event featured the newest member of Contact Fund’s portfolio, Lower East Side People’s Federal Credit Union (LESPFCU) and their partner, Neighborhood Economic Development Advocacy Project (NEDAP). Linda Levy, President of LESPFCU, and Josh Zinner, Co-Director of NEDAP, (see right) talked about their work to enable low and moderate-income New York City homeowners avert foreclosure.
Mark Reed, Contact Fund’s founder, (see left) spoke about Contact Fund’s plans for growth and new projects including a green mixed-use redevelopment in Brooklyn.
